From the Sanctuary: Companions,

TABLE CHAPTER, DECEMBER 4th
 Mount Vernon held its Table Chapter in the dining hall at the George Washington Masonic Memorial.  The event included a dinner and a program from Andrew Hammer on the symbolism of the Royal Arch.  After the program, seven toasts were made, and it was agreed to hold another Table Chapter sometime in the Spring of 2008.

 

NEXT STATED MEETING

Please remember that our next meeting will be on January 8th, and not on January 1st.  We have a dispensation to move the meeting, due to the New Years Day holiday.

 

GRAND HIGH PRIEST VISIT

Most Excellent Paul Newhall, Grand High Priest of Royal Arch Masons in Virginia, will be making his visit to our district on January 12th.  The King and Scribe are required to attend, and all officers and members are encouraged to attend as well.  Tickets may be purchased from Terry Duvall, DDGHP.

 

RITUAL MANUALS

Our Chapter Secretary currently has a few ritual books available for purchase ($10 each).  We can also order more from the Grand Secretary.


CHAPTER GOAL FOR 2007 - 2008

As a reminder, all officers and regularly attending members are encouraged to reach out to those members who we have not seen in quite a while.  Please bring them to as many future meetings as they can.
